Local resident, Victoria Hunt
Victoria Hunt, a local resident sometimes seen scooting around Flinders in a gleaming red and white Mini Cooper. Victoria has an interesting alternative life: she commutes to central western Queensland every second week to work as a truck driver at an open cut coal mine. The mine produces high grade coking coal used to make steel. Her alternative transport would cause a stir if parked outside the store and would probably bring down the power lines. In 2015 Victoria brought one of her horses to ANZAC day to commemorate the fallen horses of WW I. With three methods of transport she is quite an adaptable person.
