We are a community, volunteer based Op Shop. All funds raised are directed to St John’s Anglican church in Flinders. Please pay us a visit.
Donations to the Flinders Opportunity Shop support St Johns Anglican Church and the parish.
St. Johns church is 123 years old and has been, and still is, an integral part of the Flinders community. Of course a heritage church of this age does require continual maintenance and over the last few years much work has been done to improve the drainage around the exterior and repairs to the slate roof etc. Further work is required to rectify the integrity of the brick structure due to soil movement.
The parish supports many overseas missions and appeals as well as local organizations including Anglicare, Oz Child and Frankston Peninsula Carers Inc.
