Flinders Preschool is a Community Kindergarten run by a Committee of Management made up of volunteer parents of the Preschool.  The building is owned and maintained by the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council.  We operate ‘play-based’ programmes and we use integrated teaching and learning approaches.  We run a three year old program and a funded four year old program.  We also run a beach program for 5 weeks of each term for the four year old group only.

Every day is Open Day at Flinders Preschool.  Just ring ahead and drop in and see the group and meet the teachers.  We value the Kindergarten experience. The environment of kindergarten values various ways in which children learn, values our differences, promotes respect for self and others and the world around us.  Kindergarten helps prepare the child for lifelong learning and belonging.
