The Flinders Fringe Festival has been created by a group of enthusiastic local volunteers with a love of the arts and a big desire to support the resilience and recovery of the Mornington Peninsula by staging an event that showcases local performing and visual artists and provides audiences from near and afar something different.
The festival will utilise local venues, involve local businesses and community groups and will boost the local economy and community wellbeing.
The festival program includes cabaret, experimental jazz, choirs, giant puppets, First Nations workshops, sculpture, nature walks, ocean dancing, community picnic with community sing-a-long and much more.
Flinders Fringe Festival Inc. is a not-for-profit enterprise overseen by the Flinders Fringe Coordination Committee established in July 2022.
Committee membership: Members must live, work, study or have connections to the Mornington Peninsula.
