Our Flinders village (and other local venues) will be transformed into a performance hub. Inspired by its distinctive ‘seascape’ a diverse range of talent will present creative works across a variety of genres. Imagine a collage of acts including sea shanties, poetry, busking, dancing, painting, cabaret, comedy or a light and sound show on our famous pier. How about sand sculptures or a parade of weedy sea dragons down Cook Street? Or a musical about the triumphant saving of our Flinders pier?
The Flinders Fringe Festival is a not-for-profit enterprise overseen by the Flinders Fringe Festival Coordination Committee. Any profits will be directed to the Mornington Peninsula Foundation to provide music and creative arts programs for children and young people on the Peninsula with little or no access to them.
The Festival Coordination Committee acknowledges and pays respect to the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung people, the Traditional Custodians of these lands and waters.
