A fast EV charger is now open to the public in Flinders. The charger is capable of charging a standard EV from zero to approximately 80% charge within an hour, using 100% green energy.
Fully funded through DEECA’s Destination Charging Across Victoria Grant Program and private industry, the new fast charger will help to improve the Peninsula’s public electric vehicle charging network. It is also hoped that the charger will help to promote uptake of EV’s in our community (helping to reach the State Government commitment of 50% zero-emission light vehicle sales by 2030).
