The recital’s repertoire has been chosen to showcase the talent and versatility of the three performers, Breanna Stuart, Caitlin Weal and Henry Shaw. The program’s opening trio Let the winds be gentle is a much loved centrepiece of Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte. Don Giovanni is visited, along with The Magic Flute. The Flower Duet from Delibes’ Lakme should prove an audience favourite. Verdi’s Falstaff and Macbeth bring Shakespeare into the program and the final trio Love Unspoken from The Merry Widow will round off this musical smorgasbord.
