The FCA AGM was held in the Balnarring Community Hall on Sunday 27th February. Over 50 members attended and listened to Q & A with our guest, local MP Mr Chris Brayne. Questions were put to him about a number of locally important subjects including retention of the Green Wedge and Mornington Peninsula status as Metro or Regional, expenditure on schools, hospital and healthcare, other local amenities and Save Flinders Pier campaign. David Gill from the Council also fielded questions from the floor regarding the Kangaroo problem on a farm next to Greens Bush and a local issue which is taking some time to resolve plus Koala habitat destruction.
Reports were then presented by FCA President Jo Monie, Treasurer Susan Grant, resident planning expert Neville Wale and Save Flinders Pier chair Charles Reis.
Nominations for the new committee were tabled and the following members were elected unopposed.
