The FCA have had many emails, phone calls and social media about the Mornington Peninsula Council plans for a PAID PARKING PILOT to be implemented in 3 locations across the Peninsula, including Flinders
Your FCA committee and others are working hard to get to the bottom of the pilot. We have asked council if we, as registered community stakeholders, can arrange a promised ‘one to one’ meeting with council officers to discuss our concerns.
We will be asking the Council for access and answers to the 98 public questions about the issue which were submitted to Council at their meeting on 30th May. We will also ask them for the various feasibility, financial modelling and other council officer’s reports that enabled the council to make the decision to implement the plan in Flinders.
Residents of the Mornington Peninsula will have up to 5 permits per household for free parking, however there are further questions we will be asking such as to the length of time we can park etc.
