Thank you for the responses to the proposed Visitor Paid Parking Pilot
Our questions are going to be put to council for their responses.
The FCA has had considerable community feedback about the Mornington Peninsula Council plans for a PAID PARKING PILOT at the Flinders Pier Precinct.
- Last week we attended online the council meeting which passed the motion to proceed with the pilot program.
- 98 public questions were submitted to council.
We will be meeting with council officers on Tuesday 13th June to discuss many community’s concerns on your behalf.
- We will ask for access and answers to the 98 public questions submitted to Council.
- We will ask for the financial modelling & other council officer’s reports that enabled the council to make the decision to implement the Pilot plan in Flinders.
- We understand only residents or businesses of the Mornington Peninsula will have exemption permits for free parking, however there are questions we will ask as to the logistics for visitors and non-residents to the Heritage Listed Flinders Historic Precinct.
We suggest you make a submission to Council if you have questions or concerns. Click here MPSC LINK
