Come and join us at the FCA Annual General Meeting on Sunday 16 February 2020, at 11 am.
Morning tea will be available from 10.30 am. ALL WELCOME!
This year we have two guest speakers:
David Marshall, Community Safety Officer of the Flinders CFA, who will talk about the role of community members in fire prevention and safety, the range of emergencies dealt with by the CFA, and the impact on their members.
Jeremy Little, the MP Shire Bushfire Officer, who will outline Shire Strategy and Policy, the prevention of and mitigation of fire risk, and the management of bushfire on a regional level.
The meeting will be held at the Flinders Community Hall, corner of Cook and Norman Street. It will include a report from the President, Jo Monie, from the Treasurer, Susan Grant, and on planning issues by Neville Wale.
Membership can be renewed before the meeting ($25 for household membership). Anyone interested in joining the FCA Committee can should contact the Secretary, Sue Wilson (suewilson@thecollection.com.au or PO Box 228 Flinders 3929) one week before the meeting.
